Stand-up paddleboarding from the boat: take the SUPs to Twin Islands

Add up to two stand-up paddleboards to your rental and paddle the calm coves of Indian Arm from the boat. How it works and how to stay safe.

A pontoon gets you to the best paddling spots on Indian Arm. A paddleboard lets you explore them. Add up to two stand-up paddleboards to your rental for $40 each, and the boat becomes a floating base camp.

Where to paddle

  • **Twin Islands:** the tidal lagoon between North and South Twin Islands gives you sheltered water and granite shoreline to explore.
  • **Bedwell Bay at Belcarra:** calm when the afternoon wind blows up the arm.
  • **Deep Cove:** busy, sheltered and fun, with other paddlers everywhere.

How it works

Anchor or drift in a calm spot, put the engine in neutral, take the key out and launch the boards from the swim ladder. Paddlers head out while the rest of the crew swims or eats. The skipper stays aboard, watching the paddlers.

Safety rules

  • Every paddler wears a lifejacket. We provide them.
  • Paddlers stay within sight and earshot of the boat.
  • Boards only go out when the boat is stopped, never towed.
  • Paddle in calm water. If the wind picks up, everyone comes back aboard.
  • The skipper keeps the engine off until both boards are back on deck.
  • Kids paddle only with an adult in the water beside them.

Book them
